I grew up in the Wichita area after relocating here from Lincoln Nebraska when I was 8, I’ve spent the majority of my life here and it’s really all I know.
Owning a repair shop was a childhood dream that finally came true. I remember talking with my cousin about opening a shop together for hours on the phone, back when long distance calls were only free at night and on weekends. I’ve always had a passion for the automotive industry, and as I’ve gotten older that passion has only gotten stronger.
I have a strong desire to provide a top tier service and bring integrity back to the industry while doing so. All while providing people that want to be part of the industry with a place they can do so at that they will enjoy going to work at every day and know that we will do things the right way every time.
My motivation for becoming an entrepreneur is my family. I want to provide a good life for my kids and break the generational curses that I was raised in. I want my kids to see that anything is possible with a lot of hard work and dedication, and even more belief that you can get out there and make a change for yourself.

For all my working life, I had to do what I had to do to make a living for my family. Two years ago, I retired and told myself that I was only going to do things I love or make me happy. The car scene has given me the best friends that a man could have and afforded me the opportunity to do what makes me happy. When Scott started talking about Pitstop Automotive, I knew I had to help in any way possible. Lucky for me, Scott needed an old broken-down man who would love to be a part of a dream. Little did Scott know he was getting two volunteers. Craig, my year old American bully, loves to come to the shop with me whenever possible. Craig and I might look like a couple mean old men, but Craig is really a sweetheart!
